There are different reasons for using cloth diapers. It can be because it's cheaper, greener, for your baby's health, for the choice of colors or... all of the above!

AMP Diapers from Anne Marie Padorie, are made in her own factory in Winnipeg.

Monkey Doodlez diapers are made in Canada, by a canadian mom. Her cloth diapers and accessories are sold around the world.

How to choose the right diaper for you:

- All-in-one (AIO): As easy to use as disposables with Velcro tabs or snaps.

- Hybrid Diapers: Basically a AIO diaper that also features a pocket opening (like the AMP Duo Pocket).

- One Size: These are ideally intended to meet your baby's cloth diapering needs from birth (about 8 lbs) to potty training (about 35 lbs) using a snapping system that can be cinched-up or loosened as baby grows.

- Pocket Diapers: Two part diapering system with a piece of microfleece or suedecloth that makes up the inner portion of fabric and a waterproof layer outside. An absorbent insert or “stuffer” is placed inside of the two pieces, creating an AIO when assembled.

- Multi Size: Come in different sizes: small, medium and large

There's no PST (for Quebec residents) on cloth diapers and inserts. Don't forget to check with your city to see if you are entitled to have a subsidy for buying cloth diapers!
